Le Grande Republique
Following the Hyperweave Nexus Incident of 2600, the population of the Sector 005 worlds of the Concordant Assembly of Systematic Intellect (CASI) rebelled, founding a new state in their stead, Le Grande Republique (LGR). During the Nexus Incident, whole systems lost connection to the central operating CASI network, losing their collective faculties - as each system disconnected, a glitch in the system - at an enormous scale, caused a cascading memory event, leading to each hyperweave nexus adopting new and seemingly totally random cultural profiles. Those CASI citizens who awoke from this glitch found themselves anew, reborn as citizens of the First French Republic, destined to carry forth the revolution, in SPACE!
Whilst CASI still exists, in a state of civil war in Sectors 1 & 2, the LGR is a separate and independent polity based on the principles of the First French Republic. The Grande Republique is governed by Georges DanTRON & Robospierre 33X.
